Catch up

Ok so I've been a blog slacker lately :) We've been busy as I'm sure everyone else has too! In the past few months Brennan finished his first coach-pitch baseball season...he had a lot of fun and was really starting to get the hang of hitting the ball, he got a bit bored out in the field but loved it whenever the ball came to him...he loves the action! Since then Brennan and Isaac have both been in their swimming lessons, they both do really well...Isaac loves it and truly only cried for one lesson (his first time ever in swim lessons and without mom) after that he usually is jumping out of my arms and trying to run into the pool when it's his turn! He has no fear in the water, he doesn't hesitate to jump out of my arms or off the step....even when he starts to sink underwater it doesn't deter him from doing it again...luckily for me Brennan is swimming like a fish by himself...diving off the side and diving down for rings, etc. We've been doing a lot of swimming so far this summer to keep wild boys busy and get them tired out....it is wonderful :) We've also been going to the Harkin's summer movies which Brennan loves (not sure if he loves the popcorn or the movie more).

We were lucky to have my cousin Ashley and her boyfriend come stay with us for a week before memorial day, I don't know if they knew what they were in for coming to stay with us but Brennan absolutely loved the attention of two more people in the house....Isaac still asks for Ashley on a pretty regular basis :) We had a lot of fun! After they left I got to go to Vegas for a girl's weekend!!! I went with my 3 best girlfriends that I've known since Jr. High! We went to celebrate our 30th b-days, It was the best time to be able to just catch up and have girl time. None of us gamble but we had a wonderful time shopping, laying out by the pool, having cocktails, dancing, going to shows....etc...It was perfect and I can't wait to plan our next big trip together:). A couple of weeks after I got back Joe got to go for a boy's weekend getaway to Flagstaff, camping and mountan biking (I must say I think I got the better end of that deal...but to each his own :)

Ok I think I've mostly updated everything.. Just trying to enjoy the summer...Brennan starts an early kindergarten class at the end of July so we'll officially be on a school schedule then....I know he'll do great and he's excited to try out a new school.
