Camping

We were fortunate enough to get out of the heat this weekend and went up North to go camping... We found a new campground we had never been to before it was nice and quiet, pretty secluded....very nice!! This was the first time Isaac had been camping and while Brennan has been going since he was ~6 months old I thought I had camping with little boys all figured out!! Man was I wrong! You see Brennan is my particular little guy who doesn't really enjoy getting dirty/messy/things out of place...Isaac on the other hand discovered he likes dirt.... a lot :) He was impossible to keep clean..I tried and quickly realized it wasn't going to happen! He sat in the dirt, rubbed it in his hair, on his face, threw it up in the air..everything possible except eat it (I think). He especially enjoyed dumping water into the dirt to make another favorite MUD! He is definitely an outdoors boy...They both loved being able to play outside all day long. Brennan was rather excited to find a caterpillar which was his pet in a plastic cup the whole weekend...he fed him fresh grass and leaves everyday until before we left he decided all on his own that he should probably let him go to find his mom and dad! It was a nice weekend get away and we were happy Nanny and Papa were able to come camp with us too!
