Happy Birthday Joe!!!

I'm a bit late posting this but what else is new???!!! Joe's birthday was February 19th, we celebrated as a family by going out to dinner and having cake/cupcakes at home...Brennan happily helped to frost and decorate them with sprinkles. Joe and I were lucky to leave the boys with my parents overnight so we could go out to dinner and actually sleep in the next day...it was a nice treat to have much needed time to ourselves! Then....we had another birthday party for Joe with his family at our house...It was a really nice time....we were short quite a few extended family members due to illness...other plans...or out of the country for 4 years :) This is the first birthday party for Joe I can remember that he hasn't celebrated with his cousin Jackson 20 yrs younger :) We missed you Jackson (and family)...hope you had a great birthday in Indonesia!! Happy birthday Joe....We love you!

Other than that we have just been enjoying the beautiful weather, doing lots of bike rides and walks around the neighborhood and playing at the park as much as we can before the dreaded heat begins! I'm even trying to figure out how to plant a garden....a real one with lots of fruit and veggies....we'll see how it goes, but it's my goal to have it done in the next couple of weeks!

We've also been trying to figure out what to do with Brennan next year for school...He misses the cut-off for kindergarten by 3 weeks and Chandler's Kindersteps program (early kindergarten for those who miss the cut-off) looks like it is going to be cancelled due to budget cuts....gotta love the economy :( So after much thought we've decided to enroll him in a pre-k class that is 1/2 day 5 days a week at Risen Savior..... He is so smart and social I have no doubt he will do wonderful....he needs to be kept busy and stimulated :)

Also posting some random pics we've taken of the boys recently.....
