Summer recap

Well our summer vacation has come and gone already....we've been plenty busy.. That's my excuse for not blogging since May! We mostly stuck around town this year but had a lot of fun! We did lots and lots of swimming, Brennan is a little fish and has perfected his front flip and back dive! Isaac is swimming pretty independently now, although he's not quite as good as he thinks he is which scares me sometimes :) He also loves doing crazy jumps into the pool... Keeley loves the water also, her favorite thing is to splash the water in her own face and try to drink/lick it :) We were able to go up North over father's day weekend to spend time with my family in a beautiful cabin, we all had a great time.... the kids had a blast exploring in the woods outside and sleeping out in the living room in their sleeping bags.. It was a really nice get away and such beautiful weather! We also did a little "staycation" at one of the resorts in town- Sheraton Wild Horse Pass.. Where Joe's brother Frank is a manager at one of their restauraunts. We all had an awesome time there as well, they have some great pools that are very kid friendly and a big waterslide... It was a perfect get away for all of us especially since Keeley isn't a great traveler yet! Frank made it even better by leaving a surprise in our room the first night.... a giant bowl of popcorn/ candy and some pay per view movie coupons!! The boys were in heaven!!

The weekend after our staycation Keeley and I flew to Illinois with my family for my cousin Ashley's wedding. We had a wonderful time and the wedding was beautiful!! To make it even better Keeley magically slept better in the hotel than she ever has at home... Go figure :)

Mostly we've just enjoyed relaxing, staying up later than normal, sleeping in (as much as Isaac and Keeley will let us), and having a good time together... (for the most part.... Isaac and Brennan are starting to get on each other's nerves and fight constantly.. so I'm about ready for school to start!).
