Brennan's 5!!

Brennan's birthday was last Thursday....can't believe my big guy is already five. I took the day off to be able to celebrate with him and he woke up at 6 am...running in my room to wake me up and tell me that he's "5 yrs old"! We had a great day, he picked one of his favorite breakfasts....french toast...then we went and saw Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs...It was a really cute movie..and in 3-D which was his first and he thought it was the greatest thing ever! He had school after that and got to bring ice cream sandwiches to share with his class....then he came home and we went out to one of his favorite restaurants..."the peanut place" aka Texas roadhouse! He loves the rolls and peanuts...and of course steak :) We had his birthday party yesterday at a karate studio....this was his first party where he invited friends from school along with his cousins/family....Everyone had a great time, especially when they got to break the piece of wood with a karate kick! He's pretty excited to be 5.. he thinks he's pretty big stuff now :) I must admit I agree.. He's doing really well in school and is still loving it...he's adjusting much better to his schedule lately but still tired enough to sleep like a bear when it's time...no complaints here! He and his brother are becoming great little buddies..when they're not fighting over toys :) The best is when they are both out somewhere where neither of them know anyone else....they really stick together and play/watch out for each other...it's pretty cool to watch!
