Waiting for S'mores
Fun at the hotel
We were supposed to go camping this past weekend, but the weather had different ideas for us :( Joe and I got off early on Friday and loaded his truck with all of our camping stuff (Brennan has been asking to go camping for months....). When we got to Payson it was pouring down rain and the sky was looking pretty dark up on the rim. Needless to say we ended up getting a hotel room in Payson for the night (next best thing to camping as far as Brennan was concerned, he loves hotels!). My parents stayed at the hotel too and we all went to see Space Chimps that night (not the greatest kids movie ever made :)) Saturday we went up to Woods Canyon lake so Brennan could fish and we enjoyed the cooler weather, but rain and thunderstorms were on there way in again so we decided to head home. We did go back to my parents house to roast marshmallows and make s'mores though, my parents neighbors probably thought they were crazy using the firepit in July!! I guess we will have to try again in a few weeks, Brennan is still insisting on camping in his tent with his new sleeping bag!

The kids were bummed they couldn't go camping but sure did have fun that night!
My girls also love hotels!
Just looking at the pictures makes me want to go up north. We went to go up on Monday to see my grandma but it was too muddy she said from the weekend to not even bother. Maybe in a couple of weeks for us too!! Its great that it can be 120 degrees but they don't care as long as they are having fun!!
